gas-elec inspection engineers are qualified to inspect both gas and electrical equipment in one visit. gas-elec offers a unique combined gas and electrical safety inspection. Approximately 3,000,000 homes in the UK are required by law to be certified safe annually. gas-elec engineers are qualified to inspect both gas and electrical equipment in one visit. This saves landlords, property managers and letting agents the considerable administration costs of arranging two separate safety inspections.

Our strength is in our two-tier system:

Management Franchisee (generates the work - marketing, sales and admin) + Safety Inspection Franchisee (carries out the work - technical) = A unique combination of skills!

gas-elec has designated 21 regions (currently run by 18 regional offices) in the United Kingdom, each region having a management franchisee who coordinates the efforts of a team of qualified safety inspection franchisees. The Regional Manager is responsible for sales and marketing, leaving the engineers to concentrate on local promotion and the safety inspections.

This creates a network of hundreds of inspection franchises.
